A rare piece of Devonshire Honiton Pottery made from heavy stoneware. The jug has been painted in beautiful tones with images of a ship at sea. I especially love the wave line work and little blue flag atop the ship's mast.
There are a number of time-worn marks and little chips to the glaze. There is also a small crack on the handle and another on the side of the vase. It still holds water but I wouldn't fill this rustic beauty above the second crack.
