An original watercolour of a quaint country landscape, picturing a cottage beyond the hedgerows. The muted colours are so lovely, as is the old thick wooden frame that it has been mounted in. On the reverse you can see the framers information (framed at The South London Picture Gallery in Camberwell). 

The frame has a number of age related scuffs and marks that can be seen in the photographs. There is a chip on the right hand side of the frame that looks to have been repainted over at some point in its history. The original backing paper is fragile and peeling away in one corner but has been glued at the centre. The hanging hooks and wire are intact.
