Unique brass oyster shell dish with a sweet little handle and aged patina.
It may have once been used as a decorative ashtray, designed for a cigarette to rest on the supports beneath the handle. I think it makes a much better trinket dish, perhaps for holding matches, a tea light, jewellery, or small beach finds.
