Ceramic German stein jug with a pewter lid. Marked Löwenbräu which is a historic brewery based in Munich, founded in 1383. Löwenbräu translates to ‘lion's brew’ and the jug has been hand painted with a crest and two marvellous tongue-flicking lions.

Such a joyful piece with beautiful colouring. A lovely decorative addition to a shelf. Could also be put to good use as a unique table centrepiece filled with foliage.
