Framed Sailing Ship Oil Painting

£115.00

Original oil Painting, ‘The Barque Herzogin Cecilie, 1936’. Signed E.V. Roberts. A classic maritime piece mounted in a wooden frame. I always think paintings of ships at sea can bring a storybook adventure quality to a room.

The four-masted barque Herzegin Cecilie was built in 1902. It was one of the last great sailing ships that continued to trade until wrecked on the coast of Devon in 1936.

Age related wear, mainly to the frame.

Dimensions: 48.5 x 4 x 38 cm
